Day 1 Duluth, MN
Our fall foliage adventure begins today as we make our way north up to Duluth. We’ll stop along the way for an included lunch. Upon arrival to Duluth, we’ll board the Vista Star for a cruise along Duluth’s waterfront. We’ll spend the rest of the afternoon with a local guide touring the city that welcomes ships from all over the world! After our tour, we’ll check into our hotel located in Canal Park. Enjoy lakeside rooms with a balcony for you to enjoy the best views during your stay! Canal Park has so much to offer an you’ll have plenty of time to explore and experience the shops and restaurants located here. Be sure to take a stroll along the iconic Duluth Lakeshore Boardwalk, visit the Lake Superior Marine Museum or just sit out on your balcony and watch the ships come and go. (L)

Day 2 Duluth, MN
We’ll board the bus this morning and make our way to Gooseberry Falls, enjoying the scenery along the way of course. At Gooseberry falls you’ll have plenty of time to take in the fall colors from it’s many view points. Next, we will head to the Lutsen area to ride the Summit Express Gondola 1,000 feet over Lake Superior to the top of Moose Mountain. You won’t find a better vantage point from which to view the Sawtooth Mountains and Lake Superior’s dramatic coastline from here. After an included lunch, we’ll continue along the North Shore to Grand Marais where you’ll have some time to explore this unique town. Explore the cool little shops, grab a treat or some coffee, walk along the harbor and take in the feel of this small little resort town! We will make our way back to Duluth but not before making a stop at Split Rock Lighthouse. Unfortunately the inside of the lighthouse is closed due to COVID-19 but the view is something you cannot miss! We will arrive back in Duluth and the rest of the evening is on your own to enjoy Canal Park and our hotel. (B, L)

Day 3 Home
Our morning will begin with a visit to the Glensheen Mansion for a tour. The mansion is perched on the shore of Lake Superior, is the most visited historic home in Minnesota. Our 12-acre estate features gardens, bridges, and the famous 39-room mansion built with remarkable 20th-century craftsmanship, telling the story of the Duluth region. Afterwards, we will head over to the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and see it’s impressive collection of historic railroad equipment that built Minnesota and our country. The museum is located in downtown Duluth, in the platforms at yard of the original Historic Union Depot, built in 1892. We’ll depart Duluth and make our way back home from there. (B)
