Day 1 Escanaba, MI
We’re off on a grand adventure to the
French provinces of Canada and Ontario.
We’ll travel as far as Escanaba, MI in
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

Day 2 Sudbury, ON
We’ll continue to travel across the Upper
Peninsula to Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan.
Upon arrival we’ll board a boat that
allows you to experience the wonder of
the Soo Locks and also enjoy a delicious
hot buffet lunch onboard. Afterwards,
we cross over the International Bridge
and enter Canada. We head to Sudbury,
Ontario for our overnight. (B, L)

Day 3 Toronto, ON
We make our way to Toronto today,
located on the shores of Lake Ontario.
After lunch on your own we will tour the
majestic Casa Loma Castle. Step back in
time to a period of European elegance
and splendor. The mansion is complete
with decorated suites, secret passages,
an 800-foot tunnel, towers, stables and a
beautiful 5-acre estate garden. (B)

Day 4 Ottawa, ON
This morning we’ll tour Toronto.
Highlights include CN Tower, Chinatown,
Rogers Centre, Harbourfront, the
Entertainment District, the trendy Queen
Street shopping district and the city’s
vibrant neighborhoods. Next, we’ll travel
to the Capital of Ontraio, Ottawa. We’ll
finish our day off at the Byward Market, a
buzzing hub of outdoor farmers’ market
stalls and specialty food shops selling
Canadian cheese and maple-infused
chocolate. It’s also known for its colorful
street art and hip stores filled with crafts
and clothes by local designers. (B)

Day 5 Ottawa, ON
Today we’ll attend what is said to be the
world’s largest tulip festival, displaying
over one million tulips. Millions of tulips
set the stage for a celebration of Canada
and Spring Weather. The Canadian Tulip
Festival was established to celebrate
the historic Royal gift of tulips from
the Dutch to Canadians immediately
following the Second World War as a
symbol of international friendship. The
Festival preserves the memorable role
of the Canadian troops in the liberation
of the Netherlands and Europe, as well
as commemorates the birth of Dutch
Princess Margriet in Ottawa during World
War II, the only royal personage ever born
in Canada. (B)

Day 6 Montreal, QC
We head to Montreal, the second largest
primarily French-speaking city in the world,
after Paris. Upon arrival, a local guide will
board our bus and give us a tour. Sights
include the French Quarter, Notre Dame
Cathedral, Place d’ Armes and the Place
Jacque Cartier Monument. (B)

Day 7 Quebec City, QC
Continuing our travels through French
Canada, we’ll arrive in Quebec City today.
We’ll visit the Sanctuaire Notre-Damedu-
Cap in Trois-Rivières, Canada’s national
shrine to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The
church is known for its unique architecture,
stained glass windows, bronze statues and
Our Lady of the Cape statue at the main
alter of the church. (B)

Day 8 Quebec City, QC
A guide will join us this morning and
give us a tour the fascinating Quebec
City. We’ll see the Plains of Abraham
Royal, Old Town, the Fortifications,
Parliament buildings and much more! (B)

Day 9 Alexandria Bay, NY
We’ll spend most of our day traveling back
to the U.S. then to Alexandria Bay, New
York. The city is located in the heart of
the 1000 Islands, a group of 1,864 islands
that straddle the Canada and U.S. border
on the Saint Lawrence River. We’ll board
a boat and cruise through the American
Channel of the 1000 Islands. Nestled on
Heart Island is a 120 room Euopean style
castle named Boldt Castle, we’ll tour it
and have time to explore the island. (B)

Day 10 Niagara Falls, ON
We travel across the state of New York
today, making our way to Niagara Falls
and cross the border back into Canada
to stay on the Canadian side of the city.
Upon arrival, we’ll tour the city with a
local guide. He’ll show us Minolta Tower
Centre, Rainbow Carillon Tower, Rainbow
Bridge, the Power Plant Disaster Area,
the Great Whirlpool and much more!
After checking into our hotel we’ll go up
in the Skylon Tower to the Revolving
Restaurant that rotates 360 degrees
every hour. Here we’ll enjoy an included
dinner and spectacular views. (B, D)

Day 11 Battle Creek, MI
Traveling west through Ontario and
into Michigan, we arrive at the Frederik
Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. Explore
the 158-acre botanical garden and
outdoor sculpture park via tram while
our driver narrates. From Grand Rapids,
we will travel to Battle Creek, Michigan
for our overnight stay. (B)

Day 12 Janesville, WI
Making our way back towards home, we’ll
travel into Chicago. While here, a guide
will show us around. Chicago always
has something going on and there is
so much to see! Sights included on our
tour are Chicago’s Loop, The Lakefront,
Magnificent Mile, Buckingham Fountain
and Millennium Park, just to name a
few. We’ll continue to our overnight
in Janesville, Wisconsin. There is an
included dinner at a local restaurant this
evening. (B, D)

Day 13 Home
We board our coach for the last time this
morning as we travel through Wisconsin
into Minnesota. (B)
