Day 1 Hannibal, MO
Join us as we leave behind the snow and cold to make our way to sunshine, warmth, and beaches in the great state of Florida. We make our way to Hannibal, Missouri for our overnight.

Day 2 Nashville, TN
Today we will notice the changing terrain as we pass through Illinois to Kentucky and finally, Nashville, “Music City USA!” Upon arrival, we will check into our accommodations, have some dinner then attend the famous Grand Ole Opry, the show that made Country Music famous! (B)

Day 3 Savannah, GA
Forging our way through the uncommon beauty of southern Tennessee, we will enter Georgia. We will pass through Atlanta and Macon en route to our Savannah, the oldest city in Georgia. (B)

Day 4 St. Augustine, FL
Our morning begins with a tour with a local guide of this marvelous city. There will be time for shopping before our included lunch at Paula Dean’s The Lady & Sons Restaurant. We continue south this afternoon, crossing into Florida, the Sunshine State. We will travel as far at St. Augustine, Florida. Here we will enjoy a trolley tour of the city. Sights include Castillo de San Marcos, the Spanish fort built in the 17th century; the world famous Fountain of Youth, Mission of Nombre de Dios-site of the first Mass in America. We will also experience early St. Augustine as we tour old St. Augustine Village, featuring houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. We’ll check-in to our hotel located in the historic district and the evening is on your own to explore the area. (B, L)

Day 5 Vero Beach, FL
Following the Atlantic coast this morning, we will make our way south through Daytona Beach, if time allows, we will stop and explore the boardwalk. Our afternoon will be spent at Kennedy Space Center. Our visit beings with a tour of the area on a special bus, seeing sights such as towering launch pads, huge rockets, and history-making technology. Then explore the Center and learn about NASA’s early space programs, the Apollo moon eras, see Space Shuttle Atlantis and learn about what NASA is planning for the future. We will stay in Vero Beach, Florida this evening. (B)

Day 6 Key West, FL
Continuing our adventure down the coast of Florida, we travel to Fort Lauderdale and ride the Jungle Queen Riverboat down the “Venice of America,” Fort Lauderdale’s New River. We will sailing through Millionaire’s Row with homes of the Rich and Famous, spectacular Mega Yachts, and other sights beyond belief. The rest of our day will be spent driving to Key West and taking in the beautiful sights along the Florida Keys. The evening is on your own to relax at our hotel or explore the area around it. There is a lovely paved walking trail just across the street for the perfect evening stroll. (B)

Day 7 Key West, FL
We will experience Key West today on a trolley tour. From the Southernmost Point to the quaint streets of Old Town, this tour will show you where all of the major areas and attractions are located along with provide you with information about Key West. Once the tour is over, you may explore on your own one of the many attractions we saw on our tour. Local attractions include the Key West Aquarium, Shipwreck Treasure Museum, The Oldest House Museum, Ernest Hemingway House Museum, the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, Southernmost House Mansion and Museum. Not into any of that? Cool off with a drink at the famous Sloppy Joe’s Bar or Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in the Old Town area and do some shopping or return to the hotel and relax by the pool. You will have on hop on and hop off tickets to the trolley all day along with a shuttle that goes back to our hotel if you decide you want to return earlier than the rest of the group....or later if you want to do dinner here and catch the sunset at Mallory Square, a truly memorable experience! (B)

Day 8 Fort Myers, FL
Traveling along the Florida Keys again this morning we’ll make a stop in Key Largo at Shell World. The perfect place to pick up some souvenirs for yourself and loved ones at home. Back on the mainland, we make our way to Everglades Holiday Park. Our Captain will take us on a thrilling airboat ride through the Everglades while giving us information and fun facts about this impressive ecosystem. Hopefully we’ll catch a glimpse of some wildlife as we skim across the glassy water. Afterwards, we’ll witness the "Gator Show" and learn all about this interesting creatures! A boxed lunch is included here before we depart. We travel to Fort Myers and check into our hotel. (B, L)

Day 9 Clearwater Beach, FL
We will start our day at the Edison Ford Winter Estate and take in more than 20 acres of historical buildings and gardens including the 1928 Edison Botanical Research Laboratory. We'll explore 15,000 square feet Museum to learn about the innovative minds of two American icons. We'll enjoy an included luncheon here. Before departing Fort Myers, we will visit Manatee Park to see if we can catch a glimpse of a “sea cow.” The manatee received this nickname due to their herbivorous diet of sea grass. In the winter, the manatees return to Southwest Florida from their coastal waters to seek out warm springs to maintain their body temperature. The outflow of water from the nearby Florida Power and Light Power Station into the Orange River providing a consistently warm flow of water via a canal. From Fort Myers, we will travel along I-75 to Sarasota spending the afternoon at the CaD'zan. The home of John Ringling, "the circus king" and his wife. This dazzling palatial mansion perfectly captures the splendor and romance of the Italy the Ringlings so loved. We will continue to Clearwater Beach and check-in to the Wyndham Grand, located just steps from stunning Clearwater Beach and also across the street from Clearwater Beach Marina. T rest of the evening is on your own. Take a walk to Pier 60, have dinner at one of the many restaurants located nearby or at our hotel, take in the sunset on the beach. It just doesn't get any better than this! (B)

Day 10 Clearwater Beach, FL
Today you have the entire day to free to enjoy our resort and the area nearby. There are many things to do here that are included in your stay. You may spend the day at the beach (chairs and umbrella provided by resort), go for a swim in the pool, work out in the fitness center, join yoga on the pool deck. There is also activities and entertainment planned at the pool throughout the day along with many area attractions you may visit on your own. There is a spa located at the resort, this would be an additional cost at your own expense. You may go to the Aquarium or other local attractions if you would like, your tour director would be happy to give you advice on transportation options available here. (B)

Day 11 Gainesville, FL
We'll depart our beach side oasis and drive to Tampa to drop our fly group at the airport to go home. The rest of us will continue to Tarpon Springs, the "sponge capital of the world." The city is known its Greek heritage and charming Historic District. You will have some time to stroll along brick streets lined with art galleries, antiques stores, and specialty shops housed in buildings dating from the late 1800s. Grab lunch at one of the delicious greek restaurants located here. Later this afternoon, we'll board a boat for a Sponge Cruise. The Captain will tell us about the history of the area sponge diving industry, see a hands-on display of the various types of sponges and their uses but the highlight of the tour is watching a sponge diver in a traditional inflated sponge diving suit descend from the boat into the river. You can watch as he moves quickly across the river floor. He harvests a live sponge and returns with it to the boat. We'll end our day in Gainesville tonight, our last night in Florida. (B)

Day 12 Marietta, GA
Say goodbye to the sunshine state today as we make our way north into Georgia. An included lunch at the S&S Cafeteria in Macon. Continuing north, we arrive in Atlanta to visit The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum. Experience immersive exhibitions of objects, documents, and photographs, videos, and beautiful gifts from world leaders. Get a close-up view of the modern American Presidency. We travel as far as Marietta, GA this evening. (B, L)

Day 13 Paducah, KY
We skirt through Tennessee and enter Kentucky today. Our afternoon will be at the National Quilt Museum in Paducah. View the finest quilt and fiber art in the world. The museum features three exhibit galleries including over 600 works of art from the museum's collection other unique and diverse traveling exhibits.

Day 14 Coralville, IA
Today we’ll travel towards home stopping in St. Louis, Missouri to visit the famous Gateway Arch. You will have the option to ride to the top if you would like. We’ll continue on making it to Coralville where we’ll spend the evening. (B)

Day 15 Home
Our sunny tour to Florida comes to an end today. Sit back and relax as we make our way into Minnesota to our drop off points. (B)
