Florida & the Keys

Day 1 Minneapolis, MN
Join us as we leave behind the snow and cold to make our way to sunshine, warmth, and beaches in the great state of Florida. We will spend the night in Minneapolis so you can get a good nights sleep before our early morning flight. Tonight, we'll enjoy a welcome dinner to get acquainted with our fellow travelers. (D)
Day 2 Flight to Orlando, FL
We'll board our flight from Minneapolis and fly to Orlando, Florida. Upon arrival, our Riley motorcoach will be awaiting to begin our adventure. We will visit Kennedy Space Center. We'll do a tour of the area on a special bus, seeing the launching pad, the space shuttles and much more. Experience interactive simulators, live shows and jaw-dropping encounter with massive rockets, as well as have the opportunity to meet a real member of NASA's Astronaut Corps. You'll get an included lunch voucher on arrival. (L)

Day 3 Key West, FL
Today we make our way south along the eastern side of Florida. We'll pass through West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami! A stop will be made along the way at Everglades Holiday Park. Our Captain will take us on a thrilling airboat ride through the Everglades while giving us information and fun facts about this impressive ecosystem. Hopefully we’ll catch a glimpse of some wildlife as we skim across the glassy water. Afterwards, we’ll witness the "Gator Show" and learn all about this interesting creature! A boxed lunch is included here before we depart. Continuing south, we will enter the Keys and drive all the way to Key West for a 2 night stay at our beautiful hotel! This evening, we'll enjoy a delicious included dinner. (B, L, D)

Day 4 Key West, FL
We will experience Key West today on a trolley tour. From the Southernmost Point to the quaint streets of Old Town, this tour will show you where all of the major areas and attractions are located along with provide you information about Key West. Once the tour is over, you may explore on your own one of the many attractions we saw on our tour. Local attractions include the Key West Aquarium, Shipwreck Treasure Museum, The Oldest House Museum, Ernest Hemingway House Museum, the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, Southernmost House Mansion and Museum. Not into any of that? Cool off with a drink at the famous Sloppy Joe’s Bar or Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in the Old Town area and do some shopping or return to the hotel and relax by the pool. You will have on hop on and hop off tickets to the trolley all day so you can do whatever you want then return back to our hotel when you would like! Tonight, we board a boat for a sunset cruise! Day 5 Clearwater Beach, FL
Traveling along the Florida Keys again and back on the mainland. We'll make our way to our oceanside resort in Clearwater Beach and spend the next four nights here so feel free to unpack! (B)

Day 6 Clearwater Beach, FL
Today we'll take a drive to Mixon's Fruit Farm where we'll take a tram tour around the farm and learn all kinds of interesting facts about Florida Citrus and other tropical fruit. Lunch is included and you'll have some time to explore and shop here as well. Our afternoon will be spent at the Myakka Elephant Ranch where we'll learn about these majestic animals up close and personal. We will stop for some wine tasting at Florida Grove Winery on our way back to our resort. (B, L)

Day 7 Clearwater Beach, FL
Today is a free day to enjoy at our fabulous resort and all of it's amenities. Spend the day on the beach or sitting by the pool! (B)

Day 8 Clearwater Beach, FL
Enjoy another free day at our resort today. Tonight, we'll have an included farewell dinner to say goodbye to Florida and all of the friends we have made! (B, D)

Day 9 Home
We'll depart our beach side oasis and fly home today. A Riley motorcoach will be awaiting our arrival to bring us back to our original departure points.
