Day 1 Kansas City, MO
Get your Santa hat and dancing shoes on as we are headed to three of the top music cities in the country at Christmas time! We will board the coach today and head south to our overnight destination in Kansas City, Missouri.

Day 2 Branson, MO
It is a short drive from Kansas City to Branson. Upon arrival into Branson, we’ll stop for lunch on your own and give you some free time to explore. Afterwards, we'll be entertained by everyone’s favorite comedian, Yakov Smirnoff and laugh until we cry. Then we'll head to Silver Dollar City for the evening. Few things compare to the sight of over 6.5 million twinkling lights covering the trees, buildings, and walkways throughout the park. Over 1,000 decorated trees are sprinkled throughout and almost every building is strung with lights from top to bottom along with a 5-story special effects Christmas tree. (B)

Day 3 Memphis, TN
From Branson, we cruise on over to Memphis, home of Elvis Presley’s Graceland and tour the mansion, Elvis’ two custom jets, his automobile museum, and many other exhibits relating to Elvis and his career. The tour of Graceland is extra special at Christmas time with the interior and exterior of the mansion decorated for the Holidays. See traditional lights and decorations including hundreds of blue lights along the driveway, a life-size Nativity scene, Santa and his sleigh and much more originally displayed by Elvis. The interior of Graceland mansion is decked out in Christmas decor and includes his traditional red velvet drapes and Presley family Christmas artifacts on display. We'll check-in to our hotel, the Guest House at Graceland. (B)

Day 4 Nashville, TN
We head to Nashville today. Our first Christmas activity includes ice! The ICE! Exhibit is created by a talented team of artisans featuring a different theme each year and a full Nativity in stunning, crystal clear ice. These carvers spend nearly a month of 12-hour shifts transforming two million pounds of ice into a winter wonderland. Then we'll get checked-in and settled in our rooms at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. There will be time to explore the hotel and enjoy the Christmas decor before we depart for a holiday cruise aboard the General Jackson Showboat. Dinner is included. (B, D)

Day 5 Nashville, TN
This morning a local guide boards our coach to give us an in-depth look into well-known historic sights, some homes of the stars, and country music attractions on a guided city tour of Nashville. Then we head back to the Ryman Auditorium for a self-guided tour. Then its time for an included lunch at the Wildhorse Saloon. We'll head back to our Resort for you to explore or relax. This is a great time to ride the Delta Boat inside our hotel. Dinner will be on your own. Tonight, we attend the world famous Grand Ole Opry. What began as a simple radio broadcast in 1925 is today a live entertainment phenomenon. We’ll hear a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps. (B, L, D)

Day 6 St. Louis, MO
We begin making our way back home as we leave Tennessee, pass through Illinois and arrive in St. Louis, Missouri. Before checking into our accommodations, we will be visiting the Anheuser Busch Brewery, seeing the rich architecture and learning about it's heritage. Later we'll visit the Missouri Botanical Garden, where more than one million lights transform iconic locations throughout the grounds into a winter wonderland. Enjoy the colorful Gardenland Express, G-scale trains of many eras traveling along 900 feet of track through a miniature holiday landscape made up of festive decorations and thousands of fresh plants, accented by beautiful poinsettias and flowers. Christmas carols, Santa, resplendent holiday décor, traditional Chanukah and Kwanzaa celebrations will be sure to keep us busy while we're here! Then we'll check into our hotel located near Union Station and the rest of the evening is at your leisure. (B)

Day 7 Coralville, IA
This morning we make our way to the Mark Twain Boyhood Home & Museum to learn about the life of Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known as the author Mark Twain and where he found the inspiration for many of his stories, including the “White Picket Fence.” We’ll drive to Kalona to move at a slower pace while we tour the largest Amish settlement west of the Mississippi. We’ll travel the scenic back roads of the country and get a first hand sense of the hard work and family ethic that comprises the Amish way of life. After, we will enjoy an Amish-style dinner. (B, D)

Day 8 Home
We spend our last day together traveling across Iowa and back into Minnesota and South Dakota. We will arrive home in the early evening. (B)
3 dinners
2 lunches and
7 continental breakfasts
