Day 1  Minneapolis, MN
Join us as we leave behind the snow and cold to make our way to sunshine, warmth, and beaches in the great state of Florida.   We will spend the night in Minneapolis so you can get a good nights sleep before our early morning flight.  Tonight, we'll enjoy a welcome dinner to get acquainted with our fellow travelers.  (D) 

Day 2  Key West, FL
We'll board our flight from Minneapolis and fly to Miami, Florida.  Upon arrival, our Riley motorcoach will be awaiting to begin our adventure.  We will make our way to beautiful, Key West!  We’ll check-in to the La Concha Key West Hotel for a 2 night stay.  

Day 3  Key West, FL
We will experience Key West today on a trolley tour.  From the Southernmost Point to the quaint streets of Old Town, this tour will show you where all of the major areas and attractions are located along with provide you information about Key West.  Once the tour is over, you may explore on your own one of the many attractions we saw on our tour.  Local attractions include the Key West Aquarium, Shipwreck Treasure Museum, The Oldest House Museum, Ernest Hemingway House Museum, the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, Southernmost House Mansion and Museum.  Not into any of that?  Cool off with a drink at the famous Sloppy Joe’s Bar or Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville in the Old Town area and do some shopping or return to the hotel and relax by the pool.  You will have on hop on and hop off tickets to the trolley all day so you can do whatever you want then return back to our hotel when you would like!  This evening, we’ll enjoy a delicious included dinner.  (B, D)

Day 4  Fort Myers, FL
Say goodbye to the Keys today and head north to Fort Myers!  A stop will be made along the way near Miami at Everglades Holiday Park.   Our Captain will take us on a thrilling airboat ride through the Everglades while giving us information and fun facts about this impressive ecosystem.  Hopefully we’ll catch a glimpse of some wildlife as we skim across the glassy water.  Afterwards, we’ll witness the “Gator Show” and learn all about this interesting creature!  A boxed lunch is included here before we depart.  We arrive in Fort Myers and visit Sun Harvest Citrus to pick up some of yummy Florida citrus.  Then on to our hotel.  (B, L)

Day 5  Clearwater Beach, FL
Our morning begins at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates to discover the genius of two American innovators, Thomas Edison & Henry Ford.  There are many different options to explore on this self-guided tour including nine historic buildings, acres of lush gardens, Edison’s original botanic research laboratory and a 15,000 square-foot museum filled with hundreds of inventions and artifacts.  Next, we make our way to St. Petersburg and the Clearwater Beach area.  First stop, wine tasting at Florida Grove Winery.  This family-owned tropical fruit winery produces 43 different varieties of premium fruit wines, all of which are gluten free and has been in business since the 1070’s.  Afterwards, we check-in to our accommodations at the Wyndham Grand on Clearwater Beach for the next four nights, so feel free to unpack!   (B)

Day 6  Clearwater Beach, FL
Today is a free day to enjoy at our fabulous resort and all of it’s amenities.  Spend the day on the beach or sitting by the pool!  (B)

Day 7  Clearwater Beach, FL 
Today we travel to Tarpon Springs, known as the “Sponge Capital of the World.”  You’ll have to time to explore and shop along with enjoy lunch on your own here.  Then we’ll board a boat for a Sponge Cruise on the Anclote River.  We will learn about the history of sponge diving here and also see a demonstration of sponge harvesting with a live diver in traditional diving equipment.  (B)

Day 8  Clearwater Beach, FL
Enjoy another free day at our resort today.  Tonight, we’ll have an included farewell dinner to say goodbye to Florida and all of the friends we have made!  (B, D)

Day 9  Home
We’ll depart our beach side oasis and fly home today.  A Riley motorcoach will be awaiting our arrival at MSP Airport to bring us back to our original departure points.
