Day 1 Peru, IL
Head south with us to celebrate everyones favorite time of the year, Christmas! Our tour will visit some of the south’s grandest attraction during the Christmas season.

Day 2 Louisville, KY
We’ll continue south today making our way to Kentucky. Most of our day will be spent traveling. On arrival to Lexington we’ll check-in to our accommodations for the evening before heading out for an included dinner. Afterwards we will visit Kentucky Horse Park’s Southern Lights where we’ll see over a million twinkling lights as we drive through on our comfortable motorcoach. (B, D)

Day 3 Asheville, NC
We say goodbye to Louisville and head to Asheville, North Carolina to visit the famous Biltmore Estate. We will sit down for a delicious included dinner then do a magical candlelit tour of the Biltmore House with live music. The whole mansion is lit up entirely by candlelight, fireplaces and Christmas displays including 100+ decorated trees, 1.5 miles of fresh garlands, 500 wreaths and 2,000 poinsettias. (B, D)

Day 4 Myrtle Beach, SC
Continuing south towards Myrtle Beach, we stop in Charleston, SC for lunch and shopping at the Charleston City Market. A great opportunity to grab a unique Christmas gift locally made. Then we will board a horse drawn carriage for a tour around the city. We will see many decorated mansions, churches and gardens on our narrated tour around “Holy City.” Next, we’re off to Myrtle Beach, our home for the rest of the trip - 4 nights! We’ll check-in to our oceanside accommodations and you will have the rest of the day on your own. Our hotel is located centrally within walking distance to many restaurants. (B)

Day 5 Myrtle Beach, SC
Today is a free day to enjoy our hotel and the area on your own. Enjoy the hotel’s pool or lazy river, take a walk along the beach, check out the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk or just relax on your balcony and watch the waves. Dinner is included this evening at Original Benjamin’s Calabash Seafood Restaurant. Our entertainment this evening is at the Alabama Theatre seeing the South’s Grandest Christmas Show. (B, D)

Day 6 Myrtle Beach, SC
This morning we visit the Hopsewee Plantation. Built some 40 years before the American Revolutionary War, Hopsewee Plantation was one of the South’s major rice plantations and the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. We tour the plantation and it’s grounds then enjoy a delicious southern lunch. Our afternoon will be spent at the Festival of Trees at Ripley’s Aquarium. Explore the aquarium while finding fifty specialty decorated trees throughout. We’ll return to our hotel to freshen up and grab a bite to eat before we visit Brookgreen Gardens as it comes to life with hand lit candles and beautiful sparkling lights at their annual Nights of a Thousand Candles. Day 7 Myrtle Beach, SC
Today we board the Barefoot Queen for a lunch cruise along the IntraCoastal Waterway. We’ll offer a option drop off/pick-up at Broadway at the Beach afterwards for those that would like. The rest of the day will be on your own. (B, L)

Day 8 Home
Our Christmas tour comes to an end as we make our way to the airport to fly home. We hope you enjoyed Christmas in the South.
